Atmosphere was dead, it seems like no one smiles. Bacon served for an additional $5 was the precooked ones 3 slices. Water tasted very funny, like refrigerated for a long time. And you only get one piece of toast, if you ask for a second they give it to you free, that was nice. This place is not a 4.9 AT ALL! This place is a 4.1. Not returning.
The food here is absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for great quality and excellent service, this is the place to go. As soon as I finished my water or coffee, my cup was already being refilled. I truly loved the service and the overall experience.
I highly recommend the brioche Classic French toast. With the added banana, it was beautifully presented and delicious, too. Service was fast and friendly, and everything came out perfectly. I’d happily return.
I absolutely love this cafe! It took everything in me to not lick my plate clean. This was the most decadent French toast I have ever had. The berries were fresh, the blueberry sauce was perfectly flavored, the cheesecake topping was the perfect touch. No syrup necessary. The lovely ladies made me feel at home and the atmosphere is that of an upscale restaurant with jazzy piano covers playing softly over the speaker system. I will be bringing all of my friends and family here.
I just wanted to drop a quick review for the awesome coffee shop I hit up in Chicago during my marathon trip - super close to my hotel, which was amazing. From the minute I walked in, the staff were totally attentive with the warm greetings - really set a nice vibe. The whole place was spotless and looked sharp, loved the atmosphere. My waitress was fantastic, super attentive, and service was lightning fast, which is perfect when you're fueled before a big run. The coffee was so good - strong, just how I take it, hit the spot big time. And when my food arrived. Delicious and tasty, satisfying, all that good stuff. Overall, had a stellar experience at this coffee shop - definitely a solid pit stop for any marathon runner or coffee lover passing through Chi-Town. Highly recommend!
This was just the most pleasant surprise. Way better than a typical neighborhood diner. It is not a greasy spoon. The atmosphere is pleasant and tasteful. The food! So fresh! So beautiful prepared! Creative and delicious and wholesome. I had the Harding Breakfast Sandwich- real fresh ham off the bone- on French Toast! Delicious. My mom and I split old fashioned oats which was delicious and fresh. My mom had the breakfast burrito with real red skin potato hash, so flavorful. And the salsa was something to write home about. Go here!
I’m usually skeptical when I see high ratings on a restaurant because I feel like they’re fake, but this place deserves all the starts. The food was amazing, best chilaquiles with actual home made sauce and home made chips, the coffee is not watered down, the service was 10/10, and everything was just great!! I hope the service and quality always remain the same.
This cafe is a gem! The food is addictively good. Everyone in the neighborhood is raving. Great service. Great attention to detail and the food is perfection. Seriously so cute. A child sitting behind us ordered pancakes and they came out looking like Mickey Mouse covered in sprinkles. They also have new delicious skillets 🥰
